Business Sales Account Manager

What You’ll Be Doing As a Floating Senior Account Manager , you will be assigned a sales territory based on business needs. Territories can change every 30 to 90+ days, so you will float to cover areas where there is an immediate need throughout Henry County. This is a permanent hire position. With your sales experience, ability to efficiently manage your time, excellent customer relationships skills and enthusiasm for technology, you’ll deliver outstanding business solutions that support our technology evolution and change the way businesses connect. Whether you are hunting new business or growing existing accounts, you’ll consult with customers to identify their challenges, recommend tailored solutions, and ultimately deliver a powerful return for customers while improving their business and growing our revenue. Identifying, developing and qualifying leads within the territory to drive additional sales opportunities through cold‑calling, partner‑selling, lead‑generation campaigns and modern social selling techniques. Gaining new business and incremental revenue to meet sales targets. Retaining, managing and growing the existing customer base. Coordinating with support partners to educate and excite customers about how they can leverage innovative business solutions. Proactively establishing, building and maintaining relationships with key decision makers. Effectively presenting and creating multi‑product solution opportunities. Confidently demonstrating a knowledgeable understanding of wireless and mobility products and groundbreaking integrated software solutions, including: Cloud, Security, ISP, VoIP and Google platforms. Tracking and reporting progress through the consistent use of a variety of sales‑force automation tools. This position requires travel in and around Howard County, MD and is a hybrid role that must be within a commutable distance to that area for in‑person meetings and customer site visits. The territory may cover Howard County and surrounding towns. You will earn a competitive salary that includes base pay and target individual‑based commission. Our commission program allows unlimited opportunity, which could enable top earners to exceed compensation plans and compete for various sales incentives. What We’re Looking For You’re a self‑motivated professional who thrives on crafting the right solution to solve a client’s problems. You excel at explaining how complex technology can solve everyday business challenges in clear, relatable language. Cold‑calling feels like a sport to you because you enjoy meeting new people and discovering their needs. People seek your advice and counsel, you win deals and help your teammates, and you act with integrity because when the team wins, we all win. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience. At least four years of relevant experience, demonstrated through work or military experience. Experience in outside sales, prospecting and negotiation. Willingness to work in a mobile model with travel within your assigned geographic sales territory (expected up to approximately 50% of the time). Valid driver’s license. Even better if you have one or more of the following: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree or relevant certifications/college courses. Two or more years of B2B or outside sales experience, including business acquisition and prospecting/cold‑calling. Technology sales and educational experience (SaaS, CRM, SalesForce or other client‑management tools, social media, etc.). Strong presentation skills in both face‑to‑face and virtual environments. Experience building and maintaining relationships at all levels of client organizations. Ability to work in a fast‑paced, self‑directed, entrepreneurial environment. Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks to accomplish goals. Ability to implement feedback and tailor your approach to achieve success. The annual salary range for the Maryland location(s) listed on this job requisition based on a full‑time schedule is: $53,000.00 – $92,000.00. This is a commission‑based position with potential to earn more. For part‑time roles, compensation will be adjusted to reflect hours.
