Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical/Surgical unit with a patient population that includes oncology, step-down, and sickle cell diagnoses
• Administer medications and treatments, including chemotherapy, in accordance with facility protocols
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, documenting changes and communicating with the interdisciplinary care team
• Implement individualized care plans and adjust interventions based on patient response
• Maintain a safe patient environment and adhere to all infection control and safety standards

Required Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license with Nursys verification
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Medical/Surgical specialty within a similar-sized facility
• Current BLS certification
• Ability to work night shifts with no requested time off during the contract period
• Complete work history with no employment gaps greater than 60 days

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Chemotherapy certification
• Experience caring for oncology or sickle cell patient populations
• Step-down or higher-acuity Med/Surg unit experience
