Commodities Manager

The Commodity Manager leads sourcing and supplier management activities for key commodity groups, ensuring the organization has a reliable, cost-effective, and high-quality supply base. This role is responsible for supplier performance, strategic sourcing, cost reduction initiatives, and leading a team of procurement professionals in support of manufacturing operations. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute sourcing and commodity strategies. Manage supplier selection, negotiations, performance, and development. Drive cost savings, supplier consolidation, and risk reduction initiatives. Partner with Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Program Management to support production and new programs. Lead supplier reviews, audits, and continuous improvement efforts. Mentor and develop buyers and sourcing team members. Ensure compliance with quality, regulatory, and contractual requirements. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field. 5+ years of procurement, sourcing, or supply chain experience in a manufacturing environment. Previous experience managing suppliers and commodity strategies. 2+ years of leadership experience. Aerospace or defense industry experience strongly preferred. Knowledge of AS9100, NADCAP, or other regulated manufacturing standards is a plus. #J-18808-Ljbffr
