What You'll Do
- Provide high-quality nursing care to emergency department patients
- Assess patient conditions and prioritize care needs efficiently
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and execute patient care plans
- Educate patients and families about treatments and procedures
- Use hospital systems to document patient information accurately and timely
- Respond quickly to emergencies and adapt care strategies accordingly
- Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and facility policies
What You Need
Required:
- Valid RN license in Louisiana
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- CPI certification
- ACLS & PALS certifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in emergency or acute care settings
- Proficiency with healthcare software and computer systems
- Effective communication and organizational skills
Preferred:
- Additional certifications in clinical specialties or trauma nursing
