Laboratory Technician

Job Title: Laboratory TechnicianJob Description Join our Life Sciences Research team, where we provide fast and accurate answers for discovery, safety, and efficacy with our world-class facilities. We are currently seeking a Formulation and Lab Support Technician to support our technical, development, and regulatory needs. Responsibilities Provide support to ensure that the facilities are properly maintained in accordance with GLP, ISO, and other required regulations, including laboratory housekeeping, receiving and putting away supplies, cleaning glassware, and inventory of assigned items. Prepare and handle formulations in a variety of vehicles. Manage shipping and receiving of supplies. Prepare chemistry samples for analysis utilizing a variety of wet chemical techniques in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety policies. Work on assignments that are routine in nature under supervision and guidance of more experienced staff. Ensure proper documentation of all work following GLP guidelines. Work with hazardous materials and chemicals under chemical hygiene and laboratory safety requirements. Essential Skills Experience in a laboratory setting. Understanding of GLP, ISO, and other regulatory requirements. Additional Skills & Qualifications Associates or Bachelor's Degree in a Scientific field such as chemistry, biochemistry, or biology. Prior experience with chemistry-focused tasks is preferred. Work Environment The role is set in a highly regulated, true research environment. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
