Your Responsibilities

• Performing thorough patient evaluations, ordering necessary tests, and designing personalized treatment plans
• Diagnosing and managing acute, chronic, or episodic health issues, collaborating with physicians or independently based on your credentialing
• Providing education to patients and their families regarding wellness, prevention, and disease management
• Prescribing appropriate medications and therapeutic interventions aligned with your scope of practice
• Engaging consistently in patient follow-up and chronic illness management

• Maintaining precise documentation in electronic medical records (EMR)

Education Profile

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner training program

Essential Certifications

• Current Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of New York
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent specialty certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or the ability to obtain within 90 days)
