Assistant Property Manager

Role Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assistant Property Manager to join our team at a Tax Credit property in Lehigh Acres, FL . This full-time, on-site role supports the daily operations of the property and plays a key role in maintaining high occupancy levels, ensuring compliance with LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) regulations, and delivering exceptional service to our residents. Key Responsibilities Assist the Property Manager in overseeing all aspects of property operations Support leasing efforts, including showing units, processing applications, and preparing lease documents Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local housing regulations, including LIHTC requirements Respond to resident inquiries and service requests in a timely and professional manner Coordinate with maintenance staff and vendors to ensure timely completion of repairs and routine maintenance Maintain accurate resident records and property files using property management software Conduct regular property inspections to ensure quality standards and curb appeal Support rent collection and enforcement of community rules and policies Qualifications Prior experience in property management, preferably in affordable housing or LIHTC communities Strong knowledge of leasing procedures, maintenance coordination, and tenant relations Familiarity with affordable housing regulations and compliance documentation Proficiency with property management software (e.g., Yardi, AppFolio, or similar platforms) Excellent organizational skills and keen attention to detail Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment #J-18808-Ljbffr
