Nova Health is seeking a reliable, compassionate, and motivated Front Desk Receptionist to join our growing psychiatric practice in Lincoln, Nebraska. Position Summary

• Hourly Pay Range: $15.00 – $20.00 / hour (Based on experience)
• Location: 1600 South 70th Street, Suite 200, Lincoln, NE 68506 (Fully In-Office)
• Type: Full-Time, Non-Exempt
• Clinic Hours: Monday–Thursday (8:30 AM – 5:00 PM) & Friday (8:30 AM – 12:00 PM)
• Flexibility: Some schedule flexibility may be available

Primary Responsibilities

• Patient Engagement: Welcome patients in a calm, compassionate, and professional manner, providing a supportive presence for individuals who may be experiencing emotional distress.
• Front Desk Operations: Manage multi-line phone systems, schedule appointments, accurately onboard new clients, and check patients in and out.
• Financial Administration: Verify insurance benefits, collect copays, and manage patient balances.
• Billing & Records: Assist with medical billing and coding processes using Electronic Health Record (EHR) software.
• Compliance & Care: Maintain strict patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations and document communication accurately.

Qualifications & Skills

• Core Education: High school graduate or equivalent (minimum requirement).
• Technical Skills: Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office. Experience with the Tebra EHR system is highly beneficial but not required.
• Medical Knowledge: Proficiency in medical terminology, billing, and coding is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate .
• Compliance: Solid understanding of HIPAA guidelines and healthcare privacy.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional communication, organization, multitasking, and problem-solving skills, with a high attention to detail.
• Aptitude: Comfortable engaging with a diverse range of patients navigating mental health and addiction challenges.

Note: A routine drug screening and background check is required as part of our onboarding process.

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive Pay: $15.00 – $20.00 per hour.
• Paid Time Off (PTO): Eligible full-time employees can accrue up to 100 hours of PTO annually , accrued on a convenient biweekly basis.
• Paid Holidays: Nova Health observes eight paid holidays annually for eligible full-time staff.
• Growth & Feedback: A collaborative performance review occurs approximately four months after your start date to support your integration into the team. (Please note: Reviews do not guarantee a wage increase, promotion, or continued employment).
