Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified Rural Health Clinical Dietitian. The successful candidate will provide medical nutrition therapy to patients of all ages in an acute care setting, deliver nutrition education to patients and their families, and support hospital staff with nutrition-related guidance.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide medical nutrition therapy to patients of all ages in an acute care setting.
• Assess patients' nutritional needs and develop appropriate nutrition care plans.
• Educate patients and their families on dietary requirements and healthy nutrition practices.

Required Education

• Bachelor's degree in Nutrition and Dietetics.
• Registered Dietitian credential through the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
• Master's degree in Nutrition and Dietetics is highly preferred for candidates completing coursework after January 1, 2024.

Required Experience

• Completion of a dietetics internship accredited by the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
• Eligibility to sit for the registration examination or the required registration credentials.
• Current Kansas dietitian licensure through the Kansas Department for Aging and Disability Services.
• Salary Range: $62,000–$93,000 annually
• Hourly Range: $30–$45
• Relocation Assistance: Up to $5,000, subject to discussion during the interview
