Mechanical - VDC Manager

RealREPP, a national full-service recruiting firm, is partnering with a well-established mechanical subcontractor based in Tamarac, FL to assist in hiring an experienced VDC Manager ! This will be a crucial addition to the team as they work on large-scale mechanical projects. Prior experience in VDC leadership at a mechanical subcontractor is required. Key Responsibilities Read contract drawings & submittals Prepare shop/detail drawings using Revit Perform material take offs Confirm & maintain quality Develop pipe layout & isometric drawings Manage HVAC & plumbing piping part families Make coordination changes to drawings Have in depth understanding of codes & installation Lead VDC team Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Construction or Mechanical Engineering (preferred) 8+ years VDC experience required Experience in leadership role Experience with mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, sheet metal Proficiency with Navisworks & Revit MEP Experience on large-scale projects (hospitals preferred) Effective communication & leadership skills Compensation Package Salary $115-145k+ base (range based on experience) Medical, Dental, Vision 401k grant Life insurance PTO Paid holidays Job Type Full-time in office We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
