Job Description TRC Talent Solutions is seeking an experienced Insurance Liaison Benefits Analyst (Level 4) with knowledge of Anthem Insurance for an educational client in Oakland, CA . This pivotal role involves providing prompt resolutions and exceptional customer service. Position Summary The Insurance Liaison Benefits Analyst-4 collaborates with management and teams to achieve strategic goals, exceed performance standards, and foster a high-performance culture. They act as key contributors and expert, focusing on efficient resource use, accurate data reporting, and prompt delivery of benefit services. Responsibilities Fields and responds to member inquiries relating to benefits enrollment and administration. Resolving issues and discrepancies with a goal of providing a one-call resolution. Always considers the customer’s point-of-view and anticipates customers’ needs when dealing with complex written and verbal inquiries from both internal business partners and external clients. Collaborates to uphold a culture of delivering exemplary service to internal and external clients and to support strategies focused on operational excellence and process and/or workflow improvements. Leverages internal and external reporting tools to complete analysis and ensure an efficient and high-quality service to all customers; presents findings to appropriate parties, including management. May support manager and supervisor in facilitating team development functions, which may include attending pre-hire group interview sessions, supporting onboarding, and mentoring new staff. Confers with manager/supervisor and other department leaders to ensure benefit analysts are provided the appropriate training resources to further their development and on-the-job performance. Serves as a “change agent, champion, or initial adopter” who embraces change and encourages colleagues to support pending or newly implemented change initiatives. Qualifications Minimum of 7+ years of experience in a lead role supporting and driving overall performance of Health and Welfare benefits in a corporate or Insurance provider setting Advanced knowledge of CMS, Medicare Parts A, B, and D; experience in educating customers in all matters of Medicare coordination and resolving Insurance carrier eligibility and enrollment discrepancies ACA, ERISA, COBRA, FMLA, ADA, Section 125, workers' compensation, Medicare, OBRA, and Social Security and DOL requirements a plus. Advanced knowledge of pertinent federal and state regulations and filing and compliance requirements (both adopted and pending) that affect retiree benefits programs, including ACA, ERISA, COBRA, FMLA, ADA, Section 125, workers' compensation, Medicare, OBRA, and Social Security and DOL requirements a plus.
