Quality Engineer for Mechanical Inspection

Job Description Job Description We are seeking a Quality Engineer to join our team! Responsibilities: Create and improve automated systems and processes Perform first piece inspection, in-process inspection, final inspection, and incoming receiving inspection as required Help to Develop Quality Plans for specific jobs as required Utilize automated inspection equipment such as Hexagon Global CMM, Keyence Vision System, and Faro Arm to optimize inspection processes. PC-DMIS programming to improve accuracy and efficiency in Automated quality checks. Maintain a clean and safe work environment ​​ Qualifications: Previous work experience in quality control. Familiarity with CAD or other related software Strong attention to detail reading blueprints and checking parts to print. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Knowledge of various inspection equipment such as calipers, micrometers, comparators, etc. Document all technical procedures and user guides Company Description We are a family owned and operated contract precision machine shop.
