Sr Perfusionist

Department/Unit: Anesthesiology Hospital Work Shift: Day (United States of America) Salary Range: $146,542.00 – $234,467.00 Responsibilities Independently responsible for a wide range of mechanical life support systems. Provide clinical service throughout the health system for patients ranging from neonate to geriatric population. Conduct cardiopulmonary bypass (CPB) independently, collaborating closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nursing staff to tailor perfusion to each patient’s needs. Monitor and maintain patient parameters during CPB, including blood pressure, heart rate, urinary output, arterial and venous blood gases, acid/base status, blood coagulation, temperature, and myocardial protection. Continuously assess mechanical parameters of the circuit. Stay alert and respond promptly and appropriately to changes and problems. Perform procedures including CABG, valve replacement, aortic aneurysm repair, TAVR, ECMO, ventricular assist device implantation, and neonatal and pediatric congenital defect surgeries. Possess a high degree of innovation and organizational skills, with accountability for independent and interdependent decision‑making under minimal supervision.
