Position Details Department/Unit: Anesthesiology Hospital Work Shift: Per Diem (United States of America) Salary Range: $116,823.00 - $186,917.00 Hourly Range: $48.33 - $79.75 Duties Accept on‑call duty from home or immediate area using an area‑wide pager. Must be able to reach the hospital within a reasonable amount of time to provide care outside regularly scheduled workdays. Assist in maintaining a constant update of administrative procedures, perfusion library, and scientific‑paper library. Conduct product evaluations to remain current with product changes and usage. Assist in maintaining accurate bypass records and preparing annual reports. Attend lectures, conferences, departmental meetings, and regular meetings with the Chairman of the Dept. of Anesthesiology and the Dept. of Cardiothoracic Surgery. Attend regional, national, and international conferences related to perfusion; relate information to other perfusionists and others as applicable. Lecture on request to interested groups. Orient new perfusionists and instruct nurses, medical students, and others in extracorporeal circulation techniques. Qualifications Certified by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion. Minimum of one year experience performing duties related to cardiopulmonary bypass, ECMO, autotransfusion, and related duties.
