Job Description

Job Summary:
The MRI Technologist will perform imaging procedures using MRI equipment to aid in patient diagnosis. This role involves reviewing pre-screening forms, conducting smaller exams, and ensuring accurate image capture. The position offers potential for extension or permanent placement based on practice needs.

Responsibilities:

• Perform MRI scans with precision, adhering to safety protocols and imaging standards.
• Review pre-screening forms and assess patient eligibility prior to procedures.
• Conduct smaller imaging exams such as hips, shoulders, and knees.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with facility policies.
• Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to deliver quality patient care.
• Complete required training, including Pennchart and EPIC system experience as needed.

Qualifications:

• Hold valid MRI Technologist certification or license.
• Demonstrate experience with Siemens MRI equipment.
• Possess EPIC system proficiency, with a willingness to test out of additional training.
• Exhibit strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Successfully complete Pennchart training prior to start date.
• Ability to work rotating shifts according to schedule.
