Health Unit Coordinator (HUC) Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)Under the direction of the manager or designee supports the functions of the unit/area by performing receptionist and clerical duties.Responsibilities include:Maintaining the medical record in good form.Communicating effectively using established systems/protocols.Communicating effectively with ancillary departments.Maintaining unit supplies/forms appropriately.Assuming responsibility for professional development of self and contributing to and assisting with the professional development of others.Other duties may be assigned.Minimum requirements:Education: High School Graduate or Equivalent.Experience: No experience required.Licensure: NonePhysical demands include:Sitting for prolonged periods, frequently bending/stooping.Proficient communicative, auditory and visual skills; attention to detail and ability to write legibly; ability to lift/push/pull less than 20lbs.May be exposed to chemicals, blood/body fluids and infectious disease.The pay range for this role is $14.20 - $28.40 hourly.
