Unt Specifics: TRAVEL – RN – EMERGENCY ROOM Location: Emergency Department Address: 2626 Capital Medical Blvd Unit: Emergency Department Shift Time: Start Time: 07:00 PM End Time: 07:00 AM Shift Type: Night Shift General Information Number of Beds : 39 Patient Ratios : 1:4 Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) : one unit secretary and 2-3 techs on the floor Type of equipment : Crash Carts, Level One, Alaris Pumps, Dash bedside cardiac monitors Documentation system: MediTech Scheduling requirements: 4wk schedule posts 2wks prior to start date, preferred three 12hr shifts/wk Floating policy: ER hold unit while at capacity, rare during summer months Patient Experience requirements: 30-1hr patient rounding and bedside shift report Hospital Specifics- Certifications: ACLS,BLS,PALS Hiring profile Requested Skill Set: Multi-task and through-put focused, team work Must have: 2 years ER experience Advanced skills needed: Assist in intubation and emergency lifesaving procedures. Procedures performed on unit: Chest tubes, Moderate sedation, LP, laceration repair, blood products Certifications Required: ACLS,BLS,PALS Dress Code: (Required uniform) Black Scrubs Unit Guidelines/Policies Please attach unit specific policies and guidelines.
