As our CT Technologist, you will utilize your expertise to capture precise diagnostic images, enabling our Radiologists to accurately diagnose and/or rule out diverse medical conditions.
Every day, you will adeptly create detailed cross-sectional images of the skeleton, tissues, and internal organs. Your compassionate interaction and skill in patient care will be crucial, as you play a significant role in fostering a positive and comforting patient experience throughout the imaging process.
To be successful in this role, you will deeply understand the critical importance of diagnostic imaging. This includes a comprehensive knowledge of general imaging workflow, various patient positioning techniques, and the ability to consistently capture clear results essential for timely and accurate diagnoses that guide effective patient care.
- Performs CT exams
- Prepares equipment
- Equipment and room maintenance after each procedure
- Completes all quality checks and ensures that equipment logs are maintained
- Reviews the physician orders to verify the type of diagnostic test requested
- Inform patient of diagnostic procedure being performed
Required:
- Must have completed an accredited Radiology Program
- One (1) year of experience in Radiology
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT (R))
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT (CT)) within nine (9) months of hire
- Medical Radiographer (MRAD:TX)
- BLS from the American Heart Association (AHA) with 14 days of hire
Preferred:
- Associates Degree in Allied Health or Radiology
