What You'll Do:

• Manage new patient consultations and follow-up appointments in outpatient oncology and infusion settings
• Participate in inpatient rounding independently and with the APP team
• Oversee chemotherapy supervision and orders, including immunotherapy, hormonal therapy, and clinical trial oversight
• Handle oncologic emergencies and participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including MDs, APPs, pharmacists, and nurses
• Support both outpatient and inpatient care in a hospital-based outpatient clinic

What You Need:

• Board Certified in Medical Oncology (MD/DO)
• Wisconsin medical license or eligible for IMLC licensure through the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact
• 1-3 years of relevant experience in medical oncology
• BLS, Chemotherapy Certification (ONS), and Bone Marrow Biopsy Certification
• Strong knowledge of oncology treatment protocols and emergency management

About the Assignment:
This position is based in a hospital-affiliated outpatient oncology clinic featuring an 13-chair infusion center. The provider will support a busy multidisciplinary team, managing a patient volume of approximately 8 outpatient visits and 2 inpatient rounds per day. The case mix predominantly includes breast, lung, colorectal, prostate, pancreatic, gynecologic, head and neck, melanoma, and other skin cancers, with treatments involving IV/oral chemotherapy, immunotherapy, hormonal therapy, and clinical trials.
