Position Overview

Responsibilities

• Conduct an array of ultrasound examinations, such as abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging

• Work closely with radiologists and referring physicians to deliver high-caliber diagnostic visuals
• Manage imaging equipment operations and maintenance, promptly reporting any issues
• Ensure accurate documentation of procedures and maintain patient records in the electronic medical system
• Keep abreast of advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is highly preferred

Certifications Needed

• Valid certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferable
