TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Endoscopy RN in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin, 53158!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Gastrointestinal Lab Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 3 years required; 5 years preferred License: Wisconsin or Compact License (Pending accepted) Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Experience in pre/post GI procedures. Previous charge experience preferred. Experience with Epic charting system. Travel experience preferred. Description: This position involves providing care for patients undergoing gastrointestinal procedures. Duties include pre and post-operative patient assessments and management. Nurses will administer conscious sedation and monitor patients throughout procedures. Experience with airway management, IV starting, and maintaining is required. Candidates should be familiar with various GI procedures including colonoscopy and EGD. Recovery from monitored anesthesia care sedation is a key responsibility. The role requires skills in handling and labeling specimens. Candidates will work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team. Call coverage is required on weekdays and every other weekend. Travelers with a history of latex allergies cannot be accommodated. Compliance requirements include obtaining NIHSS certification.
