Chief Commercial Officer

Overview

Insight Global is partnering with a leading organization in the transportation, logistics, and energy infrastructure space to identify a Chief Commercial Officer. This executive will lead enterprise business development, commercial strategy, strategic partnerships, and revenue growth initiatives. The ideal candidate brings a successful track record of driving growth, building high-performing commercial teams, and developing long-term customer relationships in complex operational environments.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Lead the company's overall commercial and growth strategy.
• Develop new business opportunities and expand strategic customer relationships.
• Drive sales, pricing, contract negotiations, and major business pursuits.
• Partner with operations and finance teams to align customer commitments with execution capabilities.
• Identify and evaluate new markets, partnerships, acquisitions, and investment opportunities.
• Establish KPIs and accountability measures related to growth, profitability, forecasting, and customer retention.
• Build and mentor a high-performing commercial organization.
• Represent the company with customers, industry partners, and key stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.
• 12+ years of leadership experience in business development, sales, commercial management, operations, or marketing.
• Proven success driving profitable growth and leading complex commercial initiatives.
• Strong experience in strategic planning, negotiations, pricing, forecasting, and customer relationship management.
• Financial acumen with experience in budgeting, margin management, and business case development.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, multi-site environment.
• Proficiency with CRM platforms and sales reporting tools.
• Willingness to travel 25-50% to facilities and clients

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA or other advanced degree.
• Experience within logistics, transportation, supply chain, industrial services, energy, or infrastructure industries.
• Exposure to power generation, utilities, renewable energy, data centers, or large-scale industrial projects.
• Experience with mergers & acquisitions, joint ventures, or strategic partnerships.
• Background building or scaling commercial teams and new service offerings.
