Overview
Speech Language Pathologist – Acute Care travel assignment in Fargo, North Dakota, United States. Start date: September 14, 2026. Contract length: 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $1,999 per week to $2,080 per week. 36 hours guaranteed per week. Day shift. Work setting: long-term care nursing home.

Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of residents’ speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, and swallowing as appropriate.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address identified needs.
- Provide direct speech-language pathology therapy to residents, including therapy aimed at communication, swallowing safety, and feeding skills.
- Document evaluation findings, treatment goals, progress notes, and discharge planning in the resident’s medical record in compliance with relevant regulations.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team (nursing, rehabilitation therapy, dietary/nutrition, social work) to coordinate resident care.
- Monitor progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and participate in care conferences to support resident outcomes.

Requirements
- North Dakota licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist or eligibility to obtain licensure
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Ability to work with geriatric populations in a long-term care setting
- Strong communication and documentation skills; ability to collaborate with diverse care teams
- Willingness to participate in a travel assignment and day shift schedule
