Senior Product Manager, Digital Pathology

Responsibilities Oversee Leica Biosystems’ digital pathology scanner portfolio product lines from strategic planning and development through launch and end‑of‑life. Identify market opportunities, assess competition, write business cases, and establish product and pricing strategies. Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, sales, and program management to develop new and enhance existing products, ensuring documented requirements represent the true Voice of Customer (VOC), including user personas, workflow mapping, and unmet needs analysis. Work closely with marketing to develop and implement go‑to‑market plans, working with all departments to execute and launch. Function as the market expert in advanced imaging solutions that support the digital pathology customer base and internal teams. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in marketing, life science, engineering or equivalent. 8+ years of product marketing, product management, or related experience in medical devices. 5+ years of product management experience (lead strategy, product life cycle management, business strategy). Experience in a regulated environment (preferably medical device/FDA). Experience in clinical laboratory or biotech industries is preferred. Ability to travel up to 20% of the time (international travel if needed). Compensation The annual salary range for this role is $140,000 - $170,000. This is the range that the company in good faith believes is the possible compensation for this role at the time of posting. Bonus and incentive pay are also available.
