Employment Terms:

Employment with Aviation Service Partners (ASP) is subject to a 90-day introductory (probationary) period. During this time, employee performance, attendance, and overall fit for the role will be evaluated. Successful completion of the introductory period does not alter the at-will nature of employment.

Aviation Service Partners (ASP) is looking for an ExperiencedTool Room Attendantto join our team. At ASP, we specialize in the sourcing and provision of the worlds top MRO service, Maintenance, Engineering, and Project Management teams to provide end-to-end MRO services that are cost-favorable, of the highest quality, and utmost reliability.

Performs duties as required for tool room, supply, and hazardous material functions in support of aircraft maintenance activities.

What You Will Be Doing:

Performs duties as required for tool room, supply, and hazardous material functions in support of aircraft maintenance activities.Tool inspection and inventory, tool check in and out, tool marking and cleaning, monitoring and scheduling equipment calibration, maintaining and controlling spare or broken tools, HAZMAT storage and issue, supply issue/turn in, and other duties or responsibilities as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

• Must have prior commercial tool room experience, 2+ years (Plus)
• Must be able to drive a forklift or delivery truck to transport tools, parts, and equipment.
• Position may require extended hours due to mission requirements.
• Must be able to work alternate nonstandard/overtime hours as required. Ability to work alternate first, second, or third shift.
• Must be able to lift 35 lbs.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Must be a team player in a customer-oriented environment.
• Must possess a valid Driver's License and must be able to pass requirements for operating forklifts and delivery trucks.
• This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
  
• Knowledge of Safety, Tool Control/accountability, Foreign Object damage (FOD), Supply, Quality, and Security programs.
• Must be able to drive a forklift or delivery truck to transport tools, parts, and equipment.
• Position requires short-notice travel.
• Position may require extended hours due to mission requirements.
• Must be able to work alternate nonstandard/overtime hours as required. Ability to work alternate first, second or third shift.
• Must be able to lift 35 lbs.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Must be a team player in a customer-oriented environment.
• Must possess a valid Driver's License and must be able to pass requirements for operating forklifts and delivery trucks.
• Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access. Must possess at a minimum Interim Secret Clearance to start.

Desired Skills:

Working knowledge of the Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS)

Possess practical knowledge of supply chain management.

HAZMAT certification

Ability to work with limited supervision.

Forklift certified.

Ability to prepare and ship material.

Knowledge of DOD supply and transportation practices.

Proficient at Microsoft Office
