Customer Service Representative (Inbound Call Center)

Schedule: Must be available to work five 8-hour shifts between 5:00 AM and 10:00 PM, seven days per week. Once training and scheduling are complete, employees will be assigned a consistent set schedule based on business needs.

We are seeking customer-focused professionals to join a growing call center team. In this role, you will handle inbound customer inquiries, provide information regarding authorizations and account-related questions, and accurately document interactions across multiple systems. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and committed to delivering exceptional customer service.

• Handle a high volume of inbound customer calls in a professional and efficient manner.
• Make outbound follow-up calls when additional information or customer outreach is needed.
• Assist customers with authorization requests, account inquiries, and general support questions.
• Accurately document customer interactions and update records in multiple systems.
• Navigate several applications simultaneously while speaking with customers.
• Research and resolve customer concerns while maintaining confidentiality and compliance standards.
• Provide clear, accurate information and ensure a positive customer experience.
• Meet established performance expectations related to quality, accuracy, productivity, and attendance.
• Manage approximately 50-100 calls per day , depending on call complexity.

• Minimum 1 year of recent high-volume call center experience within the last 2-3 years.
• Stable work history with demonstrated job tenure.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask across multiple computer systems and applications.
• Strong attention to detail and data entry accuracy.
• Basic computer proficiency, including navigating multiple screens and software programs.
• Ability to type 30+ WPM .

• Experience supporting healthcare, insurance, financial services, or other regulated industries.
• Experience handling confidential customer information.
• Familiarity with CRM systems and customer account management platforms.

• Measured on quality, accuracy, customer service, and productivity metrics.
• Ability to maintain accuracy while managing a high volume of calls and data entry tasks.
• Consistently demonstrate strong attendance and reliability.

Candidates should be able to provide examples of:

• Using multiple computer systems during a customer interaction.
• Learning and adapting to a new CRM or customer management platform.
• Maintaining accuracy while entering information in a fast-paced environment.
• Managing competing priorities while delivering excellent customer service.

• Typing Test: 30 WPM minimum
• Call Center Telephone Skills Assessment: 75% minimum score required

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Plymouth, MI.

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
