About the Position

Job Title: Emergency Department Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 18:45-19:15 Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Registered Nurse License Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS, ENPC Must-Have: Minimum 2 years of nursing experience with at least 1 year in an emergency room setting. Description: The team is committed to making a positive impact and dedicated to providing excellent patient care. We serve as a referral center for trauma, stroke, and neonatal intensive care. The emergency department has 101 beds with a typical patient ratio of 4:1. Staffing includes support from techs and clerks. Technologies used include Baxter pumps and GE monitors. Documentation is done using the Cerner system. Our scheduling requires every other weekend availability. Flexibility to float within the emergency department is necessary. Patient experience is a top priority, with expectations for respectful behavior and communication. Certifications must be obtained before the start date.
