ABA Squad is hiring a full-time Health Services Coordinator to support our client intake and authorization process. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with families, insurance verification, and healthcare/ABA documentation. 

This position is a key part of our onboarding process and helps move new referrals from initial caregiver inquiry to assessment and therapy authorization. 

Schedule & Pay 

• Full-time  
• $23–$26/hour , based on experience, plus Bonus opportunities  
• Hybrid schedule  
• Work from home: Mondays & Fridays 
• In office: Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays

What You’ll Do 

• Answer caregiver calls and guide families through the intake process 
• Collect and document intake information for new referrals 
• Send intake packets and consent forms to families 
• Follow up with caregivers on incomplete paperwork, missing signatures, and pending documents 
• Verify insurance benefits and eligibility for new referrals 
• Request and track initial assessment authorizations and therapy authorizations 
• Maintain accurate records in company systems and intake tracking tools 
• Follow up with families and insurance companies to keep cases moving forward 
• Complete monthly eligibility checks and annual benefits verification for active clients 

What We’re Looking For 

• Experience in healthcare intake, insurance verification, authorizations, ABA administration, medical office administration, or a similar role  
• Strong phone, follow-up, and customer service skills 
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple open cases 
• Experience working with commercial insurance and/or Medicaid  
• Strong organizational and documentation skills 
• Comfortable learning and using multiple systems, spreadsheets, and payer portals 
• ABA, pediatric therapy, or behavioral health experience is a plus
