Office Manager - Accounting Experience Required

Kunes Auto Group, the fastest growing dealership group in the Midwest is seeking an Office Manager to join our Davenport Nissan dealership.

The Office Manager is a critical leadership position responsible for overseeing dealership accounting processes, ensuring compliance with financial controls, and driving efficiency across office operations. This individual will also provide leadership to office staff and partner closely with leadership to support overall business objectives.

ACCOUNTING EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED . This position will also oversee a small office staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all dealership accounting functions, including general ledger maintenance and financial reporting
• Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements and ensure timely, accurate close processes
• Reconcile bank accounts, schedules, and financial statements
• Monitor cash flow, daily deposits, and overall financial health of the dealership
• Review and approve expenses in alignment with company policies
• Conduct deal reviews to ensure accuracy and adherence to internal controls
• Lead, coach, and develop 2 Office Admins to ensure high performance and accountability

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years AP/AR and GL experience as an Office Manager is required.
• Minimum of 3 years of Office Management experience in an automotive dealership strongly preferred.
• High level of financial acumen with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong experience with Excel required
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing teams
• Demonstrated expertise in accounting principles, financial reporting, and general ledger management
• Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to learn new things quickly
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with dealership management systems (preferred but not required)
• Ability to work Mon - Fri 8:00 - 5:00.
• Ability to work after hours and weekends during month end close.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: $65,000 - $70,000 annually based on experience
