In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting our dentists during procedures, ensuring patient comfort, and maintaining a safe and organized clinical environment. Title Licensed Dental Assistant Job Description Prepare treatment rooms for dental procedures to ensure efficiency and safety. Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, including taking X-rays, suctioning, and instrument handling. Take and process digital dental X-rays accurately. Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment adhering to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols. Maintain and update accurate patient records using Dentrix and other dental software systems. Perform basic dental laboratory tasks as required. Ensure strict compliance with HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality. Communicate effectively with patients and colleagues, providing exceptional customer service and care. Salary Range full-time $46,000 - $60,000 per year - Competitive salary based on qualifications and experience. Current CPR certification. Solid knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instruments. Experience in sterilization and infection control best practices. Ability to operate dental software, preferably Dentrix. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities to foster positive patient interactions. Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality under HIPAA guidelines. Preferences Prior experience with Dentrix or similar practice management software is preferred. Background working in a busy dental office or comparable clinical environment.
