Step into an impactful contract opportunity working as a School Psychologist for the upcoming 2026/2027 academic year. This part-time role focuses on supporting students across K-12th grade within a collaborative educational environment. You’ll be joining a dedicated team currently composed of nine experienced school psychologists, ensuring a wealth of peer support and shared resources as you make a difference in student development and well-being.
Your role will involve working directly with students, partnering with fellow professionals, and helping shape a positive, inclusive environment for learners of all backgrounds. The specific caseload will be determined as the current school year concludes, allowing for a well-matched assignment tailored to your strengths.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience working with students in a K-12 setting preferred
- Strong assessment, intervention, and counseling skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication and organization abilities
- Demonstrated commitment to fostering student success and positive school climate
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform psychological assessments and interpret results to inform educational planning
- Provide crisis intervention, counseling, and support services to students and staff
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to student plans
- Offer consultation and resources to educators and parents regarding student needs
- Contribute to school-wide initiatives promoting mental health and academic achievement
