Quick Facts Location: Kokomo, IN Start Date: ASAP End Date/Duration: Ongoing Shift: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM, Monday Friday Hours/week: 40 hours Employment Type: Full-time License/Certs: Indiana Social Work License (preferred) or willingness to obtain such Experience: Prior social work or child welfare experience preferred but not required Pay & Benefits Pay package: $1.00/hour (note: pay details are confirmed upon application) Benefits: Pay package discussed upon application, plus potential for additional benefits What You ll Do Conduct in-home visits and safety assessments for child and family cases Develop and monitor safety and service plans Document all case activities accurately and thoroughly Support families through intervention and resource coordination Prepare court reports and provide recommendations as needed Collaborate with community agencies, law enforcement, and legal entities Maintain compliance with state and agency policies What You NeedRequired Valid Indiana social work license or willingness to obtain Ability to work independently in a remote/hybrid setting Strong organizational and communication skills Basic understanding of child safety and welfare procedures Preferred Prior experience in child welfare or family services Knowledge of local community resources Cultural competency and interpersonal skills About the Assignment Join a dedicated team serving the Kokomo area in Indiana, focusing on child safety, family support, and intervention efforts.
