Details 13-week travel contract at an acute care hospital Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM 36 hours per week Serves pediatric, NICU, and adult critical care and emergency room patient populations Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position Requirements Active RRT license required (no pending licenses accepted); license required if applicable Minimum 2 years of experience in a US hospital setting, specifically in pediatrics, NICU, and adult ER and critical care Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required CPI certification required US Social Security Number required for consideration Date of birth required for consideration Two manager or supervisor references preferred, verifying experience within the previous 12 months, with at least one from the most recent employer Additional Information Administer respiratory care per physician prescription, including diagnostic evaluation, management, patient education, and rehabilitation Responsibilities include obtaining and analyzing physiological specimens, interpreting physiologic data, and performing cardiopulmonary tests and studies Apply and monitor medical gases, environmental control systems, mechanical ventilatory support, artificial airway care, and bronchopulmonary hygiene Administer pharmacological agents related to respiratory care and support cardiopulmonary rehab and hemodynamic cardiovascular care All certifications must be from the American Heart Association (AHA) Practice spans all care sites, utilizing treatment protocols and technology across patient populations American Traveler Job ID #P-708761.
