Registered Nurse (RN) - ER

Registered Nurse Emergency Department

Schedule: Every other weekend

Requirements:

• RN license required in state or Compact
• Minimum of 2 years acute care RN experience
• Community hospital experience required
• Preferred: Trauma Level I or II experience
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS (others to be confirmed upon submission)
• Experience with charting in Epic preferred

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide emergency triage and acute care for patients across all age groups, including infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Manage ventilated patients and administer BiPAP/CPAP as necessary
• Perform IV access, central line care, and administer IV vasopressors
• Recognize and manage dysrhythmias, STEMI, and stroke protocols
• Monitor and manage procedural sedation, including behavioral and psychiatric holds
• Handle a variety of cases including overdose, multisystem organ dysfunction, and neuro-trauma

Compliance / Notes:

• Full compliance required to start on time; non-compliance may delay start by 2 weeks
• Max request time off: 7 days per contract; holiday RTO policies apply
• Orientation is non-billable; length varies based on contract length
