• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,120-$2,230

Operating Room RN Job Requirements

• Active Alabama RN license or compact/multi-state RN license
• Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications through the American Heart Association
• Minimum 4 years of recent Operating Room RN experience in a hospital setting
• Experience as an OR circulator; endoscopy experience required
• Experience in Endoscopy, Orthopedic Surgery, and General Surgery required
• ENT and GYN surgery experience preferred
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced surgical services environment

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality perioperative nursing care in the operating room
• Use critical thinking and clinical judgment to anticipate patient needs and support surgical planning
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, OR techs, and other surgical team members to deliver seamless patient care
• Maintain case timeliness and ensure necessary supplies and equipment are available
• Communicate with families and help support a smooth patient experience
• Update physician preference cards and assist with case preparation
• Scrub and assist physicians during surgical cases as needed
• Supervise personnel delivering patient care while following hospital, AORN, and regulatory standards
