Job Summary:
The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) provides and administers all aspects of respiratory care therapy and supportive equipment under the supervision of the Director of Respiratory Services, Technical Supervisor, and Shift Supervisors. Responsibilities include patient education, treatment, management, diagnostic evaluation, and care for individuals with cardiopulmonary deficiencies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide respiratory therapy under medical direction, including education, treatment, and diagnostic evaluation.
• Assist with intubation and manage ventilator setup and operation.
• Evaluate patient needs through testing, consultations, and disease-specific education.
• Develop rapport with patients, caregivers, and team members to foster goal achievement.
• Document and provide education to patients and caregivers in an understandable manner.
• Adhere to organizational competencies and standards of behavior.
• Perform physical tasks such as lifting, pushing, and standing as required.

Work Environment:
Regular contact with medical personnel and visitors.
