Associate Attorney

Litigation AttorneyOur client, a rapidly growing national law firm in Chicago is seeking a motivated and driven Litigation Attorney who is eager to grow, make an impact, and develop as a litigator within a collaborative and supportive environment. This role offers the opportunity to work on meaningful personal injury cases while gaining hands-on experience alongside experienced attorneys and legal professionals.Responsibilities:As a Litigation Attorney, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:Help manage personal injury cases from filing through resolutionConduct thorough case investigations to establish liability and assess damagesDraft, file, and argue key litigation documents, including discovery motions, law and motion, and oppositions to motions for summary judgmentCollaborate with attorneys and legal professionals to develop and execute case strategyMaintain consistent communication with clients and guide them through each stage of litigationGain hands-on experience handling complex and high-value litigation mattersContinue developing litigation skills through mentorship and ongoing professional growth opportunitiesQualifications:What we're looking for:Bilingual (English/Spanish) requiredAttorney in good standing and licensed to practice law in the applicable state3+ years of personal injury experience with a strong focus on trial workMinimum of 3 civil jury trials to verdictStrong knowledge of state laws, regulations, and legal procedures related to personal injury litigationExcellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret and apply legal authority effectivelyExceptional written and verbal communication skills, including drafting and reviewing legal documents, motions, and correspondenceProven ability to successfully manage cases and advocate for clients while achieving positive outcomesExperience conducting legal research, preparing legal briefs, and providing strategic legal guidanceAbility to work collaboratively with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff in a team-oriented environmentStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectivelyDemonstrated professionalism, discretion, and ability to handle confidential and sensitive information appropriatelyBenefits & Perks:In addition to a competitive salary, this position will receive the following benefits:12 paid holidays annually10 days of paid vacation annually6 days of sick leave annuallyMedical insurance401(k) with 4% fully vested safe-harbor company matchTraining and continuing education budgetRegular firm events including happy hours, team building activities, and holiday celebrationsCompany-issued laptop replaced every 3 years – after 3 years, your work laptop becomes your personal laptopSalary Type: Annual SalarySalary Min: $120000Salary Max: $190000Currency Type: USD
