Data Center Construction Project Manager

Our client, the U.S.’s largest commercial real estate services firm, has an exciting opportunity for a Data Center Construction Project Manager to support a large-scale data center construction project in Georgetown, TX . This 7-month contract-to-hire role is open to provide project support is ideal for an experienced construction project management professional with data center project exposure and the ability to coordinate complex construction activities across multiple stakeholders for $47-$49.78/hr . Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm.

Job Description:

• Manage day-to-day activities for large-scale data center construction projects from planning through project closeout

• Coordinate closely with design teams, engineers, contractors, vendors, and client stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle

• Oversee construction processes including scheduling, execution, documentation, reporting, and project communication

• Review project plans, drawings, and specifications to ensure alignment with client expectations and project requirements

• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and support resolution of construction and operational challenges

• Support construction meetings, project updates, and communication across internal and external teams

• Ensure project activities comply with safety standards, company procedures, and construction best practices

• Maintain organized project documentation and reporting throughout all phases of the project

• Assist in driving project timelines, deliverables, and operational efficiency within a fast-paced construction environment

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support successful project execution and client satisfaction

Must Have Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of data center construction or data center project experience

• 4–8 years of construction project management experience

• Experience coordinating with contractors, engineers, architects, and project stakeholders

• Ability to review construction drawings, project plans, and specifications

• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills

• Experience managing multiple priorities within active construction environments

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and basic computer systems

Nice to Have Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field

• Experience supporting mission-critical or large-scale infrastructure projects

• Strong understanding of construction project lifecycle management

• Experience working in fast-paced, highly collaborative project environments
