Staff Nurse (RN) - Emergency Department

Location: 99 E STATE ST, GLOVERSVILLE, NY, 12078-1203, USA Base Pay: $36.50 - $51.63/HOUR Employee Type: FT Non-Exempt Job Description Job Purpose : The Emergency Care Center Staff Nurse (RN)is a professional care provider who assumes responsibility and accountabilityfor a group of patients for a designated timeframe in order to provide care to those patients via therapeutic use of self, the nursing process, the environment/instrumentation, and coordination with other health care team members, taking into account the individual patient's special physical or age-related needs. Education: Possess an Associate's degree from an accredited school of Nursing. Licensure/Certification/Registration: Possess current NYS license for Registered Professional Nurse; American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification to be obtained within six (6) months of hire or transfer. Preferred: Possess a CEN certificate; trauma course certificate. American Heart Association Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification. Experience: Possess a minimum of one (1) year experience medical/surgical experience as a Registered Nurse. Preferred: Possess Critical Care experience.
