Reporting to the Senior Talent Lead, you will manage the end-to-end recruiting process for a wide range of roles simultaneously, from individual contributor hires through senior manager searches.This is a generalist recruiter role at MGT and we are hiring across many different functions at once. You will need to context-switch quickly including sourcing a Corporate FP&A candidate one day and screening a Legal candidate the next, while continuing to maintain a high bar and a great candidate experience throughout. The right candidate is energized by variety, comfortable operating with a variety of open roles, and skilled at quickly getting smart on new functions well enough to sell the role and assess candidates credibly.What You'll DoOwn full-cycle recruiting for G&A roles including Finance, Legal, People, Corporate Development, and other operating functions from intake through offerRun intake sessions with hiring managers to understand role scope, must-have qualifications, and what will make a candidate successfulSource candidates directly through LinkedIn Recruiter, outbound outreach, referrals, and other channels as this is not a purely inbound-screening roleScreen candidates for both qualifications and motivation and get comfortable quickly on unfamiliar functions well enough to represent the role and MGT crediblyManage a high volume of concurrent searches across different functions, levels, and hiring managers without letting any one process stallCoordinate and schedule interview loops, gather and synthesize interviewer feedback, and drive timely debrief and decision-makingOwn the candidate experience end-to-end driving timely communication, clear expectation-setting, and a smooth, professional process from first touch through offerPartner with hiring managers on offer construction, negotiation, and closing candidatesMaintain accurate pipeline data and reporting in MGT's applicant tracking systemBuild and maintain a strong talent pipeline for recurring or anticipated G&A rolesContinuously improve MGT's recruiting processes, templates, and practices as the company scalesWhat You Bring3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with a track record spanning multiple functions (not a single specialized vertical)Demonstrated experience sourcing candidates directly — not solely managing inbound applicantsComfortable managing a high volume of concurrent searches across different roles, levels, and hiring managersStrong communication skills — able to represent unfamiliar functions credibly to candidates and manage hiring manager expectations clearlyExperience using an applicant tracking system to manage pipeline and reporting, including ownership of data hygiene and configurationHigh ownership and organizational discipline where nothing falls through the cracks even when juggling many open roles at oncePreferred QualificationsExperience recruiting at a startup or high-growth company, ideally in a generalist or G&A-focused capacityExperience with Ashby specificallyInsurance, fintech, or financial services industry recruiting experienceExperience recruiting for both individual contributor and senior leadership rolesExperience building recruiting reports, dashboards, or process documentationComfort using AI tools to improve sourcing, screening, or recruiting workflow efficiencyLocationHybrid position 3 days a week based out of San Francisco, CA officeCompensation$95,000–$140,000 annual base salary, plus 10% bonus and equity.We recognize that no candidate will meet every qualification and encourage individuals with relevant experience and interest in the role to apply.Please note: MGT does not accept unsolicited resumes from staffing vendors, including recruitment agencies and/or search firms.
