About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President, Territory Sales to lead its national field sales organization. The successful candidate will have full ownership of the territory revenue plan and be responsible for a team of six frontline sales directors, each leading a group of field account executives. This role demands a P&L-minded operator with a proven track record in B2B sales, capable of elevating the sales team's performance and instilling a value-based, consultative selling approach. The VP will be tasked with shifting the sales conversation from a focus on part numbers and price to one that emphasizes productivity, uptime, and total cost of ownership. Operating with a high say:do ratio, the ideal candidate will be a change leader, with the ability to unify teams and drive the adoption of a new sales motion. Candidates for this role at the company should have a minimum of 15 years' B2B sales leadership experience, preferably in industrial manufacturing, factory automation components, or related technical product sectors. The role requires a leader with a strong operating rigor, including CRM discipline, pipeline analytics, and experience in structured qualification methodologies. The VP will also be responsible for frontline leadership development, including coaching, talent upgrades, and performance management. A deep understanding of the sales process, from lead generation to closing, and experience in applying AI tools to enhance seller productivity, is highly valued. The ideal candidate will be a sales manager's sales manager, with a passion for developing frontline leaders and a commitment to the company's values of respect, honesty, collaboration, and growth.
