Job Title: Scheduling AssistantJob Description The Scheduling Assistant provides vital administrative and scheduling support to ensure seamless operations within the Patient Staffing Office. This role involves coordinating staffing coverage, maintaining scheduling records, supporting timekeeping processes, and assisting with workforce scheduling activities. The assistant plays a key role in ensuring adequate staffing for the Patient Staffing Office, Emergency Department, Medical/Surgical, PIP, ICU, and other designated departments. Responsibilities Coordinate staffing coverage for various departments. Communicate effectively with clinical staff and department leadership. Maintain accurate scheduling records. Support timekeeping processes. Assist with workforce scheduling activities. Handle a large volume of calls efficiently. Essential Skills Strong customer service skills. Proficiency in scheduling appointments. Ability to handle a large volume of calls. Effective administrative support and scheduling coordination. Additional Skills & Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required. No license necessary. Work Environment The position is based in a medical office, working 15 hours a week. The schedule includes every other weekend from 8am to 4pm, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch. On non-weekend weeks, the workdays are Tuesday and Wednesday from 8am to 4pm. During the first month, training will require working some weekdays with the weekday manager, as well as every other weekend to train with the weekend team. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Putnam, CT. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
