Registered Nurse (RN) – Acute Care | Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for an acute care hospital assignment. The RN will provide safe, patient- and family-centered care while collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality clinical outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and reassessments.
• Develop, implement, and update individualized plans of care.
• Monitor patient progress and document clinical interventions.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
• Supervise and delegate tasks to licensed and non-licensed staff.
• Serve as a mentor/preceptor and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent acute care RN experience .
• Graduate of an accredited Nursing Diploma or Associate Degree (ASN) program.
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced acute care environment.
