Broadmoor East Veterinary Clinic in Cheyenne, Wyoming, is seeking an Associate Veterinarian  to join our collaborative, tight-knit team. In our non-corporate environment, you’ll have the freedom to make medical decisions based on your clinical judgment and the needs of your patients, without the constraints of rigid protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Treat, and prevent an array of diseases and illnesses for both small and exotic animals
• Conduct tests and observations to provide a proper diagnoses
• Prescribe necessary medications
• Administer vaccines to prevent common diseases
• Perform soft tissue surgeries and dental procedures
• Perform spay and neuter surgeries
• Communicate with animal owners to answer questions and educate them on situations and treatment plans
• Collaborate with veterinary staff to provide top-notch care to customers
• Participate in a rotating emergency on-call schedule (approximately 1 week/month)

Qualifications

• DVM or equivalent degree (MRCVS, VMD) from an accredited veterinary program
• Licensed (or eligible for licensure) in Wyoming
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience preferred
• Proficiency in small animal medicine required, proficiency in exotics preferred
• Interest in orthopedic and emergency care is a plus
• Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills
• Availability for occasional Saturdays and rotating on-call duty
• A team-oriented approach and a genuine passion for animal care
