Responsibilities

• Build and grow your own financial services practice by developing relationships with prospective and existing clients.
• Work with clients to understand their financial goals and provide appropriate insurance and financial solutions.
• Develop new business through prospecting, networking, referrals, and relationship-building activities.
• Participate in comprehensive training, coaching, and mentorship to strengthen your financial services, business development, and leadership skills.
• Utilize New York Life's digital sales, prospecting, and marketing tools to attract, engage, and retain clients.
• Meet applicable performance, production, and licensing requirements to progress through the Accelerated Path to Sales Management Program.
• Upon qualifying for the Associate Partner role, develop leadership skills by learning to recruit, coach, and develop a team of Financial Professionals.

Qualifications

• Sales, management, leadership, or business ownership experience is preferred.
• MBA or other equivalent degree is a plus.
• Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with a variety of individuals.
• Enterprising mindset with the motivation to build and grow a business.
• Demonstrated leadership potential and an interest in coaching and developing others.
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and interested in long-term professional growth and advancement.
