Assistant General Manager – Nantucket, MA
A leading, high-volume restaurant on the beautiful island of Nantucket is seeking an Assistant General Manager. This iconic destination is known for its innovative coastal cuisine, fresh sushi, and exceptional service—all set against a one-of-a-kind backdrop. Requirements & Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience as an Assistant General Manager in upscale casual or fine dining
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- ServSafe and Allergen Certifications required
- Genuine passion for hospitality and guest service excellence
- Experience in $10 million plus high volume restaurants with a strong April-October tourist season
Must Haves
- Oversee and support all front-of-house operations to ensure seamless service
- Partner with the General Manager to drive strong financial performance
- Lead, motivate, and develop team members to deliver an exceptional guest experience
- Resolve guest issues with professionalism, efficiency, and a focus on satisfaction
Preferred Background & Skills
- Proven success in high-volume, seasonal, or resort-style operations
- Strong leadership presence with the ability to build culture and morale
- Creative problem-solving skills and adaptability in fast-paced environments
