General Laborer

We are looking for a GENERAL LABORER to join our Springfield, IL plant. As a general laborer with Contech you will contribute to America’s essential infrastructure including drainage systems, pipe, bridges and structures, and stormwater management. About the Role Responsibilities: Receive instructions and schedules from plant supervision. Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, orderly work environment Operate equipment when directed. Ensure that all finished product meets quality standard. Ready and able to move 40+lbs multiple times per day. About You We Require: Great work ethic and impeccable attendance. Able to read and understand work orders and complex instructions. Familiarity with hand tools and power tools. Willing and able to climb multiple stairs throughout the shift. Ability to work outdoors or in open air environment. Preferred – Experience working in a manufacturing environment. Preferred – Experience operating a forklift.
