Pending Contract Award Position Responsibility Summary: Primary Function - Disaster Recovery Planning (PWS 1.16.9): Performs disaster recovery, contingency, and continuity planning activities including Business Impact Analysis (BIA) recommendations, Business Continuity Plan (BCP) development IAW AR 500-3, and contingency plan maintenance as prescribed by ARCYBER. Cross-Functional Backup Validation (PWS 1.16.8): Cross-trained in Backup and Recovery Management to validate that enterprise backup and recovery strategies directly align with DR/COOP plans. Coordinates RPO/RTO testing exercises jointly with Storage & Backup System Administrators, verifies COOP site backup solutions are fully functional (Linux NFS and Windows SMB protocols), and ensures disaster recovery exercises produce realistic, validated outcomes. Position Requirements Minimum Required Qualifications Experience: Developing, testing, and managing DR/COOP documentation in DoD environments (AR 500-3 compliance); conducting Business Impact Analyses and coordinating RPO/RTO exercises. Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Continuity, or related field. Certifications: IAT Level II certification required per DoDM 8140.03. Years of Experience: 5 to 10 years of DR/COOP planning experience. Security Clearance: Active SECRET clearance.
