Ops Distribution Scheduler Intermediate

Overview Position is responsible for the scheduling and resourcing of T-0 through T-5 schedule for both PL and contractor work. Responsible for scheduling all PES and failed equipment type work. Responsible for communicating and coordinating with customers the plans and expectations for the completion of PES work. Key competencies for this position include a good working knowledge of electrical distribution system and excellent communication and people skills. The intermediate Operations Distribution Scheduler operates under some supervision to successfully complete their responsibilities. Responsibilities Schedules and manages the T-0 through T-5 schedule for both PL and contractor work. Schedules all failed equipment type work. Communicates with customers on plan and expectations for completion of PES (non-large project) work. Obtains status of contractor jobs within T-5, manages schedule accordingly and coordinates with the Long-Range Planner. Makes resource determination of PL versus contractor crews for short term work. Schedules Boring jobs through T-5 and all Boring planned and corrective maintenance. Schedules low tension network (LTN) jobs through T-5 and all LTN planned and corrective maintenance. Conduct weekly work plan meetings to communicate priorities to foremen and planning coordinators and assure understanding of the status of current week and future weeks work. Complies with all policies and standards. Qualifications Intermediate Ops Scheduler Associate's degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience on a year of year basis. 2+ years of relevant experience. Relevant experience may include engineering, construction, operations, design, or customer focused assignments. Valid PA Driver's license. Preferred Qualifications Two-year technical degree or four-year degree in business or planning. Minimum of two years of work management function or job planning experience.
