As a Server, you'll be responsible for providing outstanding guest service from the moment guests are seated until they leave, ensuring every visit exceeds expectations. Responsibilities Welcome guests with a friendly and professional attitude. Guide guests through the menu by answering questions and making food and beverage recommendations. Accurately take and enter food and beverage orders into the POS system. Deliver food and beverages promptly while ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met. Anticipate guest needs by providing attentive, personalized service throughout the dining experience. Maintain knowledge of daily features, seasonal menus, and beverage offerings. Process cash, credit card, and other payment transactions accurately while balancing your cash drawer at the end of each shift. Work collaboratively with bartenders, hosts, kitchen staff, and managers to provide seamless service. Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked work area throughout your shift. Follow all food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service guidelines, including monitoring guest intoxication and complying with all state liquor laws. Assist with opening, closing, side work, and general restaurant cleanliness. Help create a welcoming atmosphere that encourages guests to return. Perform additional duties as assigned by management. Qualifications Previous serving experience is preferred but not required. Excellent communication and guest service skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Positive attitude with a strong work ethic and attention to detail. Ability to multitask while maintaining exceptional hospitality. Reliable transportation and dependable attendance. Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as business demands. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds. Ability to frequently bend, stoop, reach, and carry trays or supplies. Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced restaurant environment.
